Tech in Hausa (also referred to as Hausa AI and AI in Hausa) is a pioneering digital literacy initiative founded by Ibrahim Zubairu (Malamiromba). The initiative is focused on making modern technology, including programming, artificial intelligence, and digital skills accessible, understandable, and usable for Hausa-speaking audiences worldwide.

Designed to address the growing gap between emerging technologies and linguistic accessibility, Tech in Hausa delivers culturally grounded, easy-to-understand educational content in both Hausa and simple English, enabling first-time tech learners to confidently engage with the digital economy.

Since its launch, the initiative has produced 48+ educational video resources, totaling approximately 200+ hours of structured learning content. These materials span a wide range of topics—from foundational digital skills such as email usage and introductory coding, to advanced concepts including Large Language Models (LLMs), neural networks, and generative AI.

To date, Tech in Hausa has generated 3M+ impressions across 9+ countries, demonstrating strong organic reach and cross-border relevance among underserved and emerging tech communities.

All content is delivered free of charge, reinforcing the initiative's commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and equitable access to technology education.

Beyond content creation, Tech in Hausa functions as a broader ecosystem for digital empowerment—bridging knowledge gaps, building confidence, and enabling practical pathways for learners to participate in the global digital economy.
